Right from the start, the World Cup had two historical zebras with Saudi Arabia's victory over South American champion Argentina and Japan's upset of four-time champion Germany. But these are not the only new surprises at the tournament in 2022.

Another notable fact about this year's tournament is that Casimiro Miguel go down in history for being the first streamer to broadcast the tournament on its digital platforms in partnership with LiveMode, which purchased the digital broadcasting rights from FIFA.

Its Cazé Cup, sponsored by iFood and other brands, will be broadcast on YouTube and on Twitch. So, whoever likes the reactions do Casimiro will be able to follow live his comments on the best and worst plays of 42 matches, during his lives. And he too will broadcast 22 games live, including Brazil's debut, against Serbia, on 11/24 at 4pm, and the team's duel against Switzerland, on 11/28 at 1pm.

“As the official sponsor of the games on social media, we understand the importance of teaming up with Casimiro, who is one of the biggest names we have on the internet and at the same time has a strong presence in the world of football”, comments Ana Gabriela Lopes, marketing director at iFood.

Worldwide: iFood’s actions on social media

In 2022, iFood enters the field as the official sponsor of the games on social media, to connect its brand with fans in Brazil and engage the public on social media during the biggest football tournament in the world.

“As a Brazilian technology company, innovation is part of our DNA. For this World Cup, we created a disruptive campaign, which focuses on social media”, says Ana Gabriela.

iFood's sponsorship of the tournament on networks includes other actions. In addition to vignettes and commercials, the company will have interaction actions with Casimiro and guests — and will have delivery for them during the broadcasts.

“We want to create unique experiences in this wave of vibration with the Brazilian team. And with that, we count our role in nurturing these moments, whether among friends, family, at work or outdoors”, explains Ana Gabriela.
