In 2021, iFood made three public commitments in the area of education to be achieved by 2025. These goals range from improving basic education to training people for the work of the future.
Teaching and training Brazilian men and women is important for the company because one of its purposes is Feed the future also with education and, with this, contribute to making the country more prosperous and less unequal.
As a Brazilian technology company, iFood also wants to awaken young people's interest in this area and contribute to training more professionals, especially from groups currently underrepresented in the sector (such as women and black or low-income people), promoting greater inclusion Social.
Therefore, by 2025, iFood is committed to:
- Train and employ 25 thousand people from underrepresented and low-income groups in technology, contributing to reducing the technological blackout in Brazil;
- Train more than 5 million people in 5 years for the work of the future and entrepreneurship;
- Encourage basic education, impacting 5 million people in up to 5 years.
