Regarding Acxel Gabriel de Holanda Peres, iFood confirms that he was never registered as a delivery person on the platform. The company identified its registration as a consumer and proactively cooperated with information for investigations within legal limits.
iFood repudiates any practices that harm the image and work of delivery drivers. It is unacceptable for criminals to take advantage of an honest activity to commit brutality. This type of conduct does not represent and cannot be attributed to the category of delivery people.
It is important to highlight that there is no requirement to use a bag with the company logo to make deliveries through the platform. Therefore, the fact that a person is using a bag with the iFood brand does not mean that they are making a delivery through the company or even that they are registered with it.
