When announcing the investment in a synthetic biology startup, the founder and current CEO of iFood, Fabricio Bloisi, highlighted the need for investments in companies that have the potential to innovate in the pharmaceutical, hospital and agricultural sectors.
Fabricio stated that, with this contribution, he wants to “pull the line” so that other businesspeople follow the same path. “I invest in causes I believe in. Through my investment in this young and promising company, I want to strengthen biotechnology in Brazil”, said the executive to FAPESP (Fundação de Amparo à Pesquisa do Estado de São Paulo), which supported Biolinker in previous projects.
