Aware of its social responsibility, and with the intention of helping to combat hunger, food insecurity in Brazil, iFood also decided to create programs that help bring food to those who need it most.
In addition to a permanent donation area within the application, which allows you to collaborate with non-governmental organizations (NGOs) such as Gastromotiva, Ação Cidadania, Orgânico Solidário, Gerando Falcões and CUFA – which work with deliveries of meals, food or digital basic baskets -, now the donation is just a click away in the order itself. In the cart, the customer can donate an amount ranging from R$ 2 to R$ 10. When completing the order, the customer will be impacted by a button asking if they would like to include a donation.
