Foodtech also leads in the supermarket delivery service, with 18%, surpassing Pão de Açúcar for the third time, cited by 12% of those interviewed – last year, the companies shared the highest position on the podium, with 13%.

The return of in-person activities did not change Brazilians’ willingness to buy online. On the contrary, online commerce is going through a period of structural changes with the strengthening of delivery services for restaurants, investment in logistics and the proliferation of “dark stores”, warehouses of items aimed at quick deliveries – sometimes made in 15 minutes .
