Having the environment as one of the priorities has become a prerogative for many governments and companies in recent years. In this context, consuming consciously and proposing a collective change that minimizes impacts on the environment is one of the biggest bets of the iFood platform.

In 2021, inclusive, the company integrated the UN Global Compact (United Nations), becoming the first foodtech in Brazil to be part of the largest corporate sustainability initiative in the world. The idea is to promote sustainable changes by 2025, ending plastic pollution in delivery and becoming neutral in carbon emissions.
