São Paulo, March 2022 – iFood, the Brazilian foodtech and largest in Latin America, was recognized by the MERCO Survey, ranking 18th in the TOP 20 of companies with the best reputation in Brazil. iFood rose 17 positions compared to the previous edition of the evaluation. MERCO is the Corporate Reputation Business Monitor, a reputational assessment instrument that has measured this index since the 2000s and is present in Spain and several Latin American countries. The announcement was made today, live by MERCO itself, which is available on his YouTube channel.

“The rise in this ranking from 35th place to 18th is a consequence of a series of efforts that iFood has been making for society, delivery people and restaurants – especially small and medium-sized ones – and how we have been giving visibility to these actions and initiatives for our partners and society. The innovation and implementation of new technologies such as non-polluting modes, a firm position on the need for regulation of professionals who work in the new economy, such as delivery people, and inclusion and education initiatives are some of the efforts that iFood has been mobilizing. , as a Brazilian company and aware of its role as a positive agent of transformation. In addition to the general ranking, iFood was among the three companies with the best reputation in the e-commerce category. In the leaders' reputation ranking, the highlight was the company's CEO, Fabricio Bloisi from Bahia, and the Corporate VP, Carlos Eduardo Moyses, who were in 30th and 26th place, respectively. In the previous edition, both ranked between 35th and 50th, respectively, showing that in all categories where the food delivery company was present, it rose many positions.
