iFood signs agreement with Cade on exclusivity policy on the platform

iFood collaborated with Cade (Administrative Council for Economic Defense) during the investigation into the platform's exclusivity policy with some bars and restaurants. Today, this process culminates in the conclusion of an agreement with the antitrust authority.

The agreement recognizes the dynamism of the food delivery sector, the legality of the practice of exclusivity, and its importance for enabling investments by platforms in restaurants. We will work to adapt our business model to the new rules imposed by the agreement —which has a relevant impact on our business—, aware that they bring more clarity and legal certainty to the entire sector.

We will continue with our mission of developing the food delivery market, offering the best products and services to our partners and users through an innovative and technological business model, which makes us the preferred and best-rated delivery platform from the market.
