With 40 couriers present, the platform opened up space to listen closely to the main needs of couriers in the region
“Voz dos Entregadors: Escuta Fortaleza” is part of a series of regional meetings to listen closely to the opinions of partners across the national territory
Part of its commitment to delivery drivers, iFood held yesterday the regional meeting “Voz dos Deliveradores: Escuta Fortaleza”, a conversation between representatives of the platform and delivery partners. The initiative, which takes place after the 1st Delivery People's Forum, a national event dedicated to listening and dialoguing with the platform's partners, is part of a series of meetings that will be held throughout Brazil.
The regional event saw the participation of 40 delivery drivers, selected after dozens of partners from the capital showed interest in participating and went through a selection process that uses criteria such as length of partnership with the platform, assessment of deliveries and diversity. This care with the criteria seeks to guarantee a conversation based on the real and consistent experience of delivery partners and, at the same time, allow everyone to be heard. Among those selected were couriers from the Logistics Operator (OL) and cloud modalities.
The date
The moment in Fortaleza was special not only for exchanging information directly with the delivery drivers, but mainly for understanding the region's major needs. The result of this exchange of experiences and ideas will help iFood to improve the daily lives of these partners. “'Voz dos Entregadors: Escuta Fortaleza' is our biggest opportunity to understand what can improve in the daily lives of delivery partners, as here we can listen to the needs at a local level, which can be very different from the needs of delivery partners who they are in other regions of the country”, highlights Alexandre Martinez, logistics manager at iFood and one of the company representatives present.
The first regional meeting of the series scheduled for this year was held in April and included delivery drivers from Recife (PE). In total, 15 couriers, from OL and cloud modalities, participated in conversations with foodtech representatives who brought ideas and considerations to increasingly improve the daily lives of couriers.
