“We will have a new expansion of the venture capital market in two or three years”, says CEO of iFood

For Fabricio Bloisi, crises in the innovation ecosystem are cyclical. "We spent a lot of money last year, and now there's nothing left. But the capital will come back"

“I have been closely following the technology market for two decades, and it has always been like this. Every two or three years, we have a major crisis in the innovation ecosystem, and capital disappears. But soon comes a new cycle of expansion.”

The statement was made by Fabricio Bloisi, CEO of iFood and founder of Movile, during the panel Growth, crisis and new directions in the supply of innovation capital, which took place this Monday (1st), as part of the Lidera event, by Fundação Estudar – created by businessman Jorge Paulo Lemann. The panel also had the participation of Eric Acher, co-founder and managing partner of Monashees, and Santiago Fossatti, partner at Kaszek Ventures.

For Bloisi, this is the perfect time to invest in a startup, or even found a technology company. “Because, in two or three years, capital will be abundant again. And there will be many opportunities for growth.”
