Open innovation: iFood Labs makes a call for logistics solutions

Company selects projects from logtechs, startups and technology companies to solve operational challenges in this area

Registration for the iFood Labs call for logistics solutions is open until February 28th. This challenge of open innovation is for logtechs who develop this type of solution, to work in partnership with iFood or co-develop solutions for the sector. 

iFood has the logistics as one of its pillars of operation, which is why it faces challenges inherent to this chain. Some of these obstacles are old acquaintances, while others will emerge as new solutions are developed. 

It is precisely in an attempt to overcome operational challenges that iFood Labs is now looking for partners in this challenge.

Projects submitted must aim to contribute and co-develop solutions for the company's current operations, through integrated platforms (SaaS integrator) and fulfillment operations.

How to submit a proposal to iFood Labs? 

To register your innovation project in the call, access the Opportunities page of the iFood Labs. When scrolling the page, click on the topic “iFood Mercado & Gestão Logística”, which appears in the opportunities menu. Then select “Apply”. 

All ideas and solutions submitted will be evaluated by a committee and iFood Labs will contact the companies selected for the next selection phase. Next, entrepreneurs must prepare a pitch for company directors. 

At the end of the process, the projects chosen to receive investment can be accelerated, acquired or directed to other hubs, accelerators and partner universities in the iFood ecosystem.
