There's some really cool news about iFood's education actions and donation campaigns

To give you that boost for the rest of the week, the iFood News Now it will bring good news every Wednesday, which will be our #QuartaDoBem!

Today, very updated numbers of iFood actions in education. These are initiatives that support delivery drivers’ learning journey —like the My High School Diploma— and want to awaken interest in technology among Brazilian students, such as Tech Marathon.

Record: 600,000 students registered for the Tech Marathon

The second edition of the largest technology competition between schools in the country, sponsored by iFood, had a 605% increase in registrations: 600 thousand students from 1,900 schools. In 2022, 85 thousand students participated in the Tech Marathon.

More than 14 thousand delivery people will provide Encceja

This year, 14,546 delivery drivers registered on the iFood app signed up to take the Encceja, the test that gives a high school completion certificate. It's almost the triple the number of registrations in 2022 through the My Secondary School Diploma program, from iFood (and 1.3% of the total number of subscribers across the country in 2023).

The campaign for the Tech Marathon ends today

Donations can be made via the iFood app and will be directed to Associação Cactus, iFood's partner at Marathon Tech. There's more: the iFood will double the amount raised and pass it on to the NGO. So far, more than R$ 90 thousand has been raised. Let's help?

There’s iFood at Criança Esperança!

For the second year in a row, the company will participate in Criança Esperança. The event takes place on August 7th, but you can donate via the app from the 2nd.

I want to collaborate. How can I make a donation?

To collaborate with campaigns, just follow these steps:

  • Open the iFood application;
  • Go to “Profile”, in the bottom right corner of the screen;
  • Scroll down until you reach “Donations”;
  • Select a cause to make your donation;
  • Then click on the “I want to donate” button;
  • Choose the amount and payment method, click the “Send Donation” button and participate in a campaign!
