Recognition and awards mark iFood's achievements in 2021

In 2021, iFood was awarded for its performance in the delivery sector, for its innovation and its relationship with the consumer – find out what awards it received.

In 2021, Foodtech received some of the market's main awards in relation to innovation and customer relationships

The last year, although marked by the uncertainties brought about by the Covid-19 pandemic in Brazil and around the world, was a period of great challenges for iFood and lessons learned from changes in consumption habits. Foodtech has become more part of people's routine, also generating new opportunities for business for partner restaurants and delivery people.

In recognition of its performance and economic and social contribution to the country, iFood received some of the main awards for innovation, people management and customer service. Check it out below:

Valor Innovation Brazil 2021 Award, for Fabrício Bloisi

Fabricio Bloisi, president of iFood, was the winner of the Valor Inovação Brasil 2021 Award in the Innovative Leadership category. In its 7th edition, the initiative recognizes the businesses that stood out the most for having a strong culture of innovation, maintaining competitiveness and using technology as a differentiating factor in the market.

BandNews Most Admired Brands Award

iFood won the 1st BandNews Most Admired Brands Award, which recognizes the companies that stood out the most among 50 organizations, from 15 sectors of the economy. “Being able to contribute to consumers was a pleasure. And being recognized is a huge source of pride”, said Carlos Eduardo Moysés, corporate vice-president of iFood, in an interview with the broadcaster.

Reclame Aqui Award

iFood won the RA 2021 Super Champion Company award, an award from Reclame Aqui. The award is one of the most traditional on the market, and evaluates companies that most respect consumers. The foodtech also won two more awards in the delivery and professional of the year categories.

National Quality of Life Award

@iFoodBrasil won, at the end of the year, the National Quality of Life Award, from the Brazilian Association of Quality of Life – ABQV, which takes into account more than 10 evaluation criteria, such as Culture of Innovation and Social Responsibility.

Guia Folha Award

Among the delivery apps evaluated by the Guide, iFood won in the category of best discount coupons and promotions. The publication highlighted the agility and ease of using the resource as a differentiator of foodtech.

iBest Award

The award is one of the oldest made on the internet, and has existed since 1996. Currently, it also highlights the best companies in the digital universe. This year, iFood was the big winner in the Delivery category.

Respect Award 2021

The company was the winner of the 2021 Respect Award in the Delivery category, represented by foodlover Thaís Suzuki, CX director. “We are happy to be here today receiving this award that takes into account this attribute that is so important to us at iFood, which is respect for the consumer. Our role was to connect our customers to partners, but always with the aim of offering the best experience to everyone”, he said, at the time, to the Consumidor Moderno portal.

ClienteSA 2021 Award

The ranking recognizes the best customer management strategies on the market. In the Personalities category, the person who received this trophy was Arnaldo Bertolaccini, director of customer experience at iFood.

Brand of the year at the Live 2021 Awards

The award recognizes market initiatives in live streaming and also cases of promotional marketing, brand experience, events and in-person and digital brand activations.
