Amid rising fuel prices, iFood increases payments to 200,000 delivery drivers

After the sharp rise in fuel prices, the iFood delivery platform announces an increase in the tariff paid to its 200,000 delivery partners. From April 2, the minimum delivery fee will jump from R$ 5.31 to R$ 6, and the minimum per kilometer driven will increase by 50%, from R$ 1 to R$ 1.50. The step is similar to directions recently adopted by 99 and Uber to help drivers face the rise in oil prices – a scenario even more harmed by Russia's war against Ukraine.
