Through the iFood app, after the order is delivered and completed, users can offer tips that are fully passed on to the delivery people. In the current scenario, the values have been increased to R$ 2, R$ 5 and R$ 10.
To recognize the support efforts that delivery drivers have offered during this pandemic, we doubled the amount of tips given in the months of April and June. In April, we raised R$2.28 million from users and passed on a total of R$4.4 million to couriers. In June, we raised R$3.35 million from users and passed on a total of R$6.7 million to couriers.
