With big screens and shows, iFood brings together fans for the World Cup

Company sponsors spaces in Rio and São Paulo for fans to follow Brazil's matches with music shows and many food options

The strength of the fans is one of the greatest assets of a sports team in the search for victories. Focusing on this ingredient for Brazil's success in the world cup, iFood will sponsor two events to bring together fans during matches of the biggest football championship on the planet.

“The events we are sponsoring are dedicated to Brazilian fans and combine football, music and food, bringing a combination of three great national passions”, comments Ana Gabriela Lopes, marketing director at iFood.

In São Paulo, the kickoff was given with the signing of the naming rights from iFood Arena Brasileira. In Rio, the crowd space will be Village Betano. In both spaces, broadcasts of Brazil's games in the tournament will be accompanied by shows by big names in our music. Check out what's going to happen:

Big screens and shows in SP

In the capital of São Paulo, the iFood Arena Brasileira will welcome fans on the days of our team's matches. The party starts on November 24th, outside the Ibirapuera Park Auditorium.

There, the event will be held in an area of more than 33 thousand m², where there will be a 360 m² main screen and five other smaller screens.

In addition to following our team at the World Cup, fans who go to the iFood Arena will be able to see, live and up close, performances by artists such as Anitta, Alok, Jorge & Mateus and Luisa Sonza, among others.

Another attraction will be the iFood food court, with restaurants that are on the app and will offer the public a varied menu of meals and snacks. Among the participants will be names like Patties, Papila and Lamahjun. iFood activations should also excite the crowd.

Ferris wheel and 100 shows in Rio

In Rio, the company sponsors Village Betano, which will be located at the Brazilian Jockey Club. In an area of 30 thousand m², fans will have at their disposal two stages, several screens and the iFood food court. The company will promote activations such as free rides on a Ferris wheel that will operate every day of the event.

The attractions start on 11/18 and run until 12/18, always from Thursday to Sunday and on the days of the Brazilian games. During this period, more than one hundred artists will perform at Village Betano, including highlights such as Anitta, Jorge Ben Jor, Ludmilla, Gloria Groove, Criolo, Natiruts, Alceu Valença, Baianasystem, Marina Sena, Duda Beat, Luísa Sonza, Gilsons and Silva.

Record exchange of stickers

iFood's commitment to supporting fans already started well before the tournament in Qatar. In August, the company started selling stickers from the competition album in partnership with Panini. Using iFood Express, customers can order stickers and receive them in up to 15 minutes.

In October, the heat for the tournament was the iFood Fest Arena, an event promoted by the company in Ibirapuera Park and which was recognized by the Guinness World Records as the biggest sticker exchange in the world.
