Brazilian foodtech receives recognition after the Os Mais Amados Rio 2022 survey
Last night (21), iFood received recognition as the preferred delivery app in the 2022 Os Mais Amados do Rio survey, carried out by Veja Rio. In the vote, the foodtech received more than 76% of public votes.
The event was attended by João Clark, marketing director at iFood, and marked the result of a survey that involved more than 4 thousand people. “Rio is an important city, which dictates fashion, in addition to commercial issues. It is an honor for iFood to be recognized in the Best Delivery App category by the locals”, celebrates João Clark, marketing director at iFood.

Rio is one of the main gastronomic centers in Brazil and receives special attention from iFood. As an example, foodtech mobilized to help residents of the mountainous region, reinforcing the importance of solidarity with victims of the rains in the region. The application, in partnership with the NGO Ação da Cidadania, allowed the sending of donations to the NGO when completing the request in a safe and easy way. In addition to supporting victims, we also extended help to partners through assistance measures, such as advance transfers, compensation of gains and distribution of basic food baskets.
