iFood wants to break the world record for exchanging stickers

iFood wants to break a record with a meeting to exchange stickers from the world football tournament; learn more about iFood Fest Arena

iFood Fest Arena will welcome collectors of Panini's world football tournament album with gifts and will be audited by the Guinness Book

On Children's Day (12/10), anyone in São Paulo will have another chance to complete their World Cup sticker album and, as a bonus, taste typical foods from different countries at the iFood Fest Arena. The event will be held in partnership with Panini, which will promote an award-winning delivery of stickers with drones, who will also give gifts to participants.

Fernanda Neder, manager of brand experience from iFood account:

“The world football tournament is a great passion of our country, so we seek to connect this with the exchange of stickers and gastronomy”,

The company's expectation is to bring together five thousand people and obtain the title of Guinness World Records largest meeting in the world for this purpose. The initiative will be accompanied by the Guinness Book to register the world record for exchanging stickers made simultaneously. To guarantee your entry, simply collect your ticket for free on the Sympla website. Then, just go to the lawn in front of the Ibirapuera Auditorium (gates 1 and 2), on October 12th, from 10am to 6pm.

Carolina Motta, marketing manager at Panini, explains that the event is a milestone for the publisher, which is the leader in the publications and collectibles segment in Brazil. “Together with iFood, we will have the opportunity to bring together a significant portion of the collector community in a single day. We want to celebrate Children’s Day with families, provide even more entertainment and reinforce the exchange of stickers as a social dynamic.”

A concern for the environment will also be present. “In partnership with Suzano, we will make recycled cups available for anyone consuming drinks on site. Another partner is Trashin, a selective collection company, which will take special care to collect the sticker papers that remain on site”, explains Fernanda.

Flavors of the World

Those who don't collect stickers will also be able to have fun at the iFood Fest Arena: the Sabores do Mundo gastronomic festival will bring several restaurants to the event, with a wide range of typical foods from the most varied world cuisines.

For Vivian Jung, head iFood's marketing team, the union between trading stickers and cooking has everything to do with the multicultural spirit of the football tournament. “Nothing better than combining football and food, two national passions, to generate new connections and enhance the experience of everyone who chooses our services and products”, he says.

Since September, the iFood Space it became official meeting point in Ibirapuera Park to exchange stickers between collectors. In addition to the iFood Fest Arena, anyone who wants to exchange with other people can go to the place, which is close to the Afro Museum, every weekend in October, between 9am and 6pm.

For buy stickers or purchase the album without leaving home —or even, without leaving Parque Ibirapuera, just place an order via iFood Express: in the city of São Paulo, items are available on the app itself and are sent within 15 minutes.
