iFood has been cited in reports over the last week about hiring advertising agencies that would have acted against the interests of delivery people. In view of this, iFood informs that it has adopted the following measures:
- Hiring specialized consultancy to investigate whether there was a violation of the company's Code of Conduct and Ethics by employees or suppliers.
- Termination of the contract with Benjamim Comunicação.
It is also worth reaffirming that iFood:
- Never acted or authorized suppliers or employees to act to demobilize demonstrations by delivery drivers, and never blocked the accounts of protesters, under any circumstances
- Did not create fake profiles, did not use robots, did not buy followers or produce or distribute fake news on social media
- It carries out all its communications through its institutional channels and in accordance with current legislation.
- Never had any commercial relationship with the Social Qi agency
