Coming out of the oven: iFood Believes, black entrepreneur acceleration program, already has 232 participants. In July, participating restaurants grew 6% more than the others in Salvador in terms of number of orders (and had an increase of 127% in revenue).

Speaking of the environment, iFood partnered with Embalixo to distribute, in stores in Liberdade and Saúde (São Paulo), bags made from biodegradable resin using sugar cane as raw material. When sent to compost, they decompose in 180 days.
The new bag joins the iFood plastic-free packaging team, which already invests in paper bags It is biodegradable packaging to reduce plastic pollution in delivery.
The Mundo Negro portal chose 25 black women who are standing out as leaders, and one of them is the Director of Equity at iFood, Angelica Vasconcelos de Sá, who is part of the Social Impact team.
By the end of this year, iFood wants to have more examples like Angel's to meet the goal of reaching 50% of women and 30% of black people in leadership positions.
