iFN – How do you see the alignment between the purposes of iFood and EBAC in relation to education and what results in this partnership?

Rafael – The project meets the values of EBAC and iFood. EBAC offers a teaching model that allows for the democratization of access to vocational education. iFood values its human capital. This project fully meets the values of both companies, as it brings a very strong and special essence, which is the social transformation of delivery drivers through education.

iFN – How do you see the responsibility of companies, whether in the education segment or not, towards society and how this is reflected in the future?

Rafael - Companies play a central role in our society providing employment, income and value creation. As such, it is essential that they value their employees, society and the ecosystem in their area of activity. Therefore, ESG (Environmental, Social and Governance) principles are becoming increasingly central to the strategies of all companies on the planet.

iFN – iFood and EBAC could have formed this partnership focusing on other audiences, but they chose delivery people. What message do you want to send to them and to society?

Rafael – Delivery drivers are an essential group of workers for a company like iFood. This program aims to differentiate and value these employees so that they have the chance to follow a learning path or even professional retraining through the various online courses that will be offered to them free of charge.

iFN – If a delivery man or woman wants to pursue another type of activity, how can an EBAC course help along the way in pursuit of this dream?

Rafael – It is a unique and special opportunity to acquire specific skills or retrain professionally for those looking for a career transition. Delivery drivers will be able to choose from more than 130 course options, in areas that are in demand in the job market, such as design, programming & data, audiovisual, marketing, games, software, fashion and business.

iFN – Why are technology and education a good combination in terms of the future and opportunities?

Rafael – Education alone has the power to transform anyone’s life. Digital skills are the language of the modern economy. Education that absorbs and values digital skills maximizes this transformative power.

iFN – What message would EBAC like to leave for iFood delivery people?

Rafael – We are very happy to be able to offer high-quality courses to iFood couriers that prepare students in fundamental digital skills for the market. Education that provides digital skills can value and maximize this life-changing power for iFood delivery people.
