iFood has several initiatives that seek to provide better working conditions, in the present and in the future, for its delivery partners — find out what they are.

Initiatives seek to improve working conditions in the present and open opportunities in the future

Delivery men and women are essential to the iFood ecosystem, bridging the gap between partner establishments and the consumer. By motorcycle, bike, car or scooter, they form a contingent of 200,000 workers who generate income from the app.

“Recognizing the value of these workers goes beyond earnings. Therefore, iFood invests in several initiatives to provide more security, quality of life and training to guarantee well-being and more opportunities for everyone”, says Felipe Ramires, head of Logistics at iFood.

Furthermore, throughout 2021, iFood held 68 meetings with delivery drivers and leaders to discuss their demands and held the 1st Delivery Drivers Forum in Brazil, which resulted in a Commitment Letter.
