iFood launches 24-hour customer service for injured delivery drivers

I food announced this Tuesday (26) the launch of a specialized 24-hour assistance service for delivery drivers who have suffered some type of traffic accident. In addition to medical care, the specialized team will help workers claim personal accident insurance.

According to the delivery app, the objective of the new tool is “to offer more agility so that the delivery person can alert the platform of what has happened and proceed with the processes to help the professional”.

The delivery person will be able to activate the special service through the application. To do this, you will need to report the option “I need to report an emergency” in the service process, describing the reason as “I had an accident”. It will also be possible to receive assistance through telephone call options.
