Quick game: what is iFood Chega Junto?

Find out everything about the notice opened by iFood to finance projects created by delivery people

Until August 31st, registration is open for the iFood Arrives Together, an initiative that will provide R$ 1 million to finance 25 projects created by delivery drivers working on the platform.

The purpose of iFood Chega Junto is to open ways for delivery people to make positive impacts on their own lives and on the category as a whole.

“The notice was born from a demand from the delivery drivers themselves, who dreamed of building their social actions and projects, but lacked financial resources”, says Johnny Borges, director of Social Impact at iFood. “It’s another initiative by the company for the category to realize its full potential.”

Why is this notice important for iFood?

iFood Chega Junto is part of the company's journey appreciation of delivery people and respect for these professionals.

Other initiatives already make up this path, such as a psychological and legal support center for delivery drivers who are victims of prejudice and violence during their work.

The company also has a series of educational programs aimed at delivery drivers: My High School Diploma, for example, offers scholarships for preparatory courses for the Encceja (high school completion test), while the Tech Power and the iFood Takes Off focus on vacancies in professional courses.
