Is there some warm bread? The bakery's orders are becoming increasingly successful in iFood, showing that Brazilians are diversifying their delivery orders and going beyond traditional lunch and dinner meals.
In the first half of 2021 alone, the number of padoca orders delivered by iFood grew by 160% in relation to the same period in 2020. And the number of partner establishments grew to the same extent: 157% in that same period of time.
Today, 94% of bakeries that provide their delicacies through delivery are small or medium-sized, a segment that grew by 40% between 2020 and 2021. And they have demand for the entire week: from breakfast during the week to snacks Saturday, the day preferred by Brazilians to place orders at the bakery for home delivery.
