iFood wins Aberje Award in two regional categories

Award recognizes best communication projects from companies across the country

This Monday (10/10) the regional winners of the 48The edition of Aberje Award, in which the Brazilian Association of Business Communication recognizes the best communication strategies for companies to generate better results for business and positive impacts for society — and iFood is among them.

Among the award participants are companies, agencies, public bodies and non-profit organizations from across the country, competing in five major regions: Espírito Santo/Rio de Janeiro, Minas Gerais/Centro Oeste, North/Northeast, São Paulo and South Whoever wins the regional stage competes for the national prize.

The awards have 16 categories. iFood competed and was the regional winner (São Paulo) in two categories: “Multipúblicos”, with the project “Potência Tech: Comunicação Breaks the Bubble to Reach Different Audiences (carried out by the agencies Back to Basics and Suno), and “Event ”, with “iFood Share – Somos Tech!” (from agencies TATO; MOPA; EVA; CG).

Now, the iFood team will present these two regional winning initiatives to the public on the award's Case Panel (free registration here), which will be broadcast live on Aberje channel on Youtube. On 10/26, from 1pm to 2:40pm, the company will showcase the Potência Tech project, and on 10/27, from 10am to 11:40am, the iFood Share case – Somos Tech!

After this stage, it is time for the awards ceremony, which will be held in November.

Who chooses the winners?

In the regional stages and the grand final, who decides which projects are the best is a panel of 250 judges invited by Aberje for their notorious knowledge of the market and academia — and all stages are monitored by an independent audit. 

Each category has a specific group of experts on the topic, who evaluate all the cases and videos of the registered projects. The 16 award categories are divided into three axes:

  • Communication of programs, projects and actions aimed at managing organizational crises, diversity and inclusion, ethics, integrity and compliance, brand, organizational memory and organizational sustainability;
  • Communication and relationship with consumers/clients, press and/or

influencers, multi-publics, internal public and society;

  • Event production and communication, audiovisual media, digital media, print media and special publications.
