iLab

iFood hired 40 people who graduated from technology courses at partner schools and set up a talent accelerator. The objective is for the group to gain market experience in six months. Find out more→

Tech Power

With the aim of acting to remedy the shortage of labor in technology and also increase diversity and inclusion within this market, iFood developed, together with several partners, Potência Tech, a platform that offers free courses, scholarships for training in technology and a track focused on employability. There are already more than 30 thousand registered in Potência, more than 6 thousand scholarships offered and almost 500 people employed. Find out more→

Takes off

iFood Decola is our platform that has more than 90 short-term courses, dynamic and aligned with the most urgent needs of partners. It has a web version and mobile application, which makes it easier to take the course wherever and whenever the student wants in a simple and practical way. Cubos Academy | Full Stack Web Training

In partnership with Cubos Academy, a technology school in Salvador, we provided full scholarships to 120 students from underrepresented populations. Training in frontend, backend and soft skills is connected to market demands and the content necessary to start working as a “Junior Software Developer”. We had 19 delivery drivers trained and 9 hired by iFood. Find out more→

Reprograma – Training for female programmers

Todos em Tech is a social impact initiative that focuses on teaching programming to cis and trans women who do not have resources and/or opportunities to learn how to program. iFood, together with other large companies, supports a project focused on training 400 women in the area. 160 have already been formed. VAMO AI – Backend Training Program focused on Data

Training program for data analysts, focused on training low-income people, preferably women and people of color in backend development. The course lasted 6 months and trained 29 people. Of this group, 27 are employed, 24 at iFood (seven are former delivery drivers). Find out more→

Sesi & iFood – Training Course for Delivery Drivers

We are committed to developing initiatives that support delivery drivers’ learning so that they can improve and acquire new life skills. Therefore, in partnership with SESI, we offer courses on personal development, traffic responsibility, motorcycle maintenance, among others, for delivery people who use our app. The content is available on the iFood app for delivery people and is 100% free. The course also offers a certificate within a year for those who complete all modules of the program. Find out more→

Bow

The objective is to train low-income young people in the public education system to find their first job. The course consists of behavioral and technical development tracks. Find out more→

Empower Network

Rede Empodera was built with education Civil Society Organizations (CSOs) that work with young people aged 15-25 in situations of social vulnerability, in order to accelerate learning, scale and improve their impacts. iFood supported the group of 7 organizations in the network focusing on Careers in Technology – Generation, Laboratoria, Instituto Ser+, Casa de vovó Dedé, Vai na Web, Labinec and CEAP.
