New work regulations must combine protection and flexibility

In an interview with Folha, Fabricio Bloisi, president of iFood, defends a new regulatory framework for app workers

Fabricio considers that the CLT (Consolidation of Labor Laws) was an advance when it was written, but that labor legislation needs to keep up with the new work models that digital platforms like iFood allows today. Hence the need for new labor regulations.

“We need laws that allow Brazil to continue generating job opportunities, but connected to where we are going. As for putting more energy into social rights, we think that’s great,” he said in the interview.
