Programs supported by iFood focus on training black women and young people

Good news for those who want to train themselves to enter the technology market. At the Tech Power, an iFood platform that supports the training and employability of professionals in this area, there are 120 vacancies open for courses, and Programadores do Ajante, a project sponsored by iFood with other companies, offers another 60 opportunities. In both cases, the courses are online and free — check below for more information and how to apply for places.

All in Tech

Attention, ladies: they are open 120 vacancies for the program aimed exclusively at female students —cis and trans are equally welcome. The initiative is from the Reprograma school and the IDB Lab (Innovation Laboratory of the Inter-American Development Bank Group), sponsored by iFood, Accenture, Creditas, Meta and Nubank.

The vacancies will be aimed at those over 18 years of age and in a situation of social, economic and gender vulnerability; at least 55% of them will be for black women and 5% for trans women and transvestites. The courses are online and the program will have three classes: two of backend and one of front-end, each with 40 people.

Programmers of Tomorrow


This is an exclusive opportunity for black and brown people: they are 60 vacancies degree in full stack for young people who are in the 2nd or 3rd year of high school in the public network or who have recently graduated (up to 21 years of age in 2022). 

To participate, you do not need to have prior knowledge of technology. The Programmers of Tomorrow organization's course, dedicated to qualifying young black men and women to pursue a career in technology, includes training in full stack, English class, development of soft skills and therapy. 

The organization offers computers to those who do not have one and financial assistance to access the internet. The course lasts 12 months, has a workload of 7.5 hours per week, is online and live. iFood is a supporter of this project.
